A boy wanders into a dark alleyway....what danger might await him there?

Vendophobia is a short film I made during my time in RMIT. It was an ambitious project that combines 2D and 3D animation.

​

The 2D Animation were done in Flash/ToonBoom, the 3D Animation (the Vending Machine) in Maya. Then they are composited together in a 3D environment within After Effects that was made using flat 2D planes.

 

I did not have Nuke back then but I would assume that it would have been better for this purpose.
